December 21, 2021 – The Woodlands, TX – Thanks to the generous donation of King Plastic HDPE sheets, the Robotics class at Legacy PCA are able to learn how to cut, fabricate, determine best yield for sheets and CNC route the HDPE sheets.

Legacy PCA was recently able to purchase a small CNC machine and 3D printer for their classrooms.  They are using the HDPE sheets from King Plastic to make letters, numbers, signage, gears, and wheel parts for their local robotics class training and competition.  In addition, the class was able to use the green sheets for a holiday project for the ELF musical.

King Plastic HDPE is a product of a process called K-Stran™, the most advanced manufacturing process for superior flatness and consistency. King Plastic HDPE materials  will not rust, delaminate or rot when exposed to UV, humidity or water. The polymer sheet never needs painting or refinishing, works like wood and is easy to fabricate using common woodworking tools and techniques.  For more details, visit www.kingplastic.com.
