SWM—Quality Teflon® PFA Rod, Tubing and Pipe

December 28, 2021 – The Woodlands, TX – SWM International (Formerly Delstar Technologies) manufactures an extensive line of Coretec™ profile extrusion products.  SWM manufactures quality PFA (Perfluoroalkoxy) rod, tubing and pipe designed to meet aggressive requirements related to temperature, chemicals, moisture, and other extremes.  PFA has very similar properties to PTFE with the biggest difference between PTFE and PFA is that PFA is melt-processed.   PFA is generally used for plastic lab equipment because of its extreme resistance to chemical attack, optical transparency, and overall flexibility. PFA is also often used as tubing for handling critical or highly corrosive processes. Other applications for PFA are as sheet linings for chemical equipment.
