SWM (Delstar)—Kynar® PVDF Pipe Chemical Applications

April 20, 2021 – The Woodlands, TX – SWM (Formerly Delstar) manufactures a complete line of Kynar® PVDF for chemical applications.  Kynar® is the trademark of Arkema.  Schedule 40 and 80 pipe available in sizes from 1/4” – 12” diameters.

Kynar® PVDF is usually the first fluoropolymer to think about when designing chemical handling systems under pressure.  Kynar® red polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) pipe from SWM is ideal for use with hot corrosive liquids, chemical processing, industrial plating, and waste treatment systems.  Kynar® red PVDF exhibits superior strength, working temperature to 250F and chemical resistance characteristics.  The red pigment provides UV protection.  SWM manufactures Kynar® PVDF in natural color for high purity applications where leachates are a concern including deionized water for school labs, hospitals, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and semiconductor.
