IPS—Weld-On® 505 Key-Tite™ Metal Pipe Sealant

July 27, 2021 – The Woodlands, TX – Weld-On® 505 Key Tite™ is a low VOC, green pipe thread sealant for metal piping systems.  Weld-On® 505 Key-Tite™ is a vegetable and mineral oil based formula that lubricates and protects metal pipe threads from rusting and seizing.  The formula is non-hardening for easy assembly and disassembly, and non-toxic, lead-free and will not affect taste or color of water or any potable liquid in the pipe line.

Weld-On® 505 Key-Tite™ is designed for sealing and lubricating metal pipe connections. Suitable for use in metal piping systems carrying the following gas and liquids with temperature range from -50°F to 450°F: diluted acid, air (compressed or gaseous), alcohols, diluted alkalis, brine, diluted caustics, gases (manufactured or natural), low pressure steam lines, liquid sugar, and hot or cold water.
