A PVC pipe joint can fail for a number of reasons, often resulting in costly and time-consuming repairs and damage. The cost of solvent cement and primer is about 2% of the entire cost of a plastic piping system project. However, if this 2% is not correctly implemented and there is a pipe joint failure, the remaining 98% will not work.
